Notes:

  • Tier I-There will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.
  • Tier-II, there will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer in Paper-II (English Language and Comprehension) and of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper-III and Paper-IV.
  • In Tier-II, Paper-I and Paper-II are compulsory for all the posts.
  • As per the SSC CGL Exam Pattern, in Tier-II, Paper-III will be for only those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for this Post/ Paper.
  • In Tier-II, Paper-IV will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-IV i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
  • The SSC CGL Exam Pattern has Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification that is conducted as per the provisions of the notice of examination.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2021

The main eligibility required for the CGL exam is that a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University and he/she age must be between 18-32 years to fill the online form.

  • Candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply for the CGL 2021 exam. However, they must possess Essential qualifications on or before 01 January 2021.
  • The only candidates who will satisfy the eligibility criteria are eligible to fill the SSC CGL Application Form 2021.
  • The candidature will get cancelled if you do not meet the SSC CGL Qualification 2021.

SSC CGL Education Qualification 2021

Candidates must have a graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government on or before 01 January 2021.

Desirable qualification: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level  OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Statistical Investigator Grade II Graduation in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects. Candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course.

The minimum age to apply for the SSC CGL exam is 18 years.
