SSC CHSL Exam Syllabus 2021 : Exam Pattern & Eligibility Criteria

SSC CHSL is conducted for the recruitment of qualified candidates for various posts like LDC, JSA, PA, SA and DEO in various Ministries / Departments / Offices of the Government of India.

 All you have to know that, SSC has released new exam dates for SSC CHSL 2020-21 exam according to which SSC CHSL 2020-21 exam will be conducted for the rest of India from April 12 to 27 as per the previous schedule. But despite this, due to the assembly elections in West Bengal, this examination may be held on May 21 and 22 in the state.

Data Entry Operator Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on the computer. The speed will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/key depressions as per the given passage The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the test computer
Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) The speed of 15000 key depressions per hour will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/key depressions as per the given passage The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and printed matter in English containing about 3700-4000 key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the test computer
Lower Division Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (LDS/JSA) and Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistants (PA/SA) The speed of 10500 key depressions per hour will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/key depressions as per the given passage The duration of the test will be for 15 minutes and printed matter in English containing about 9000 key-depressions/hour would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the test computer.

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2021-

Educational Qualification-

Educational qualification for this exam is given below-

  •  For the posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ JSA, PA/ DEO/ SA, student must have passed Class 12th in Science stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • For Grade ‘A’ DEO post, Student must have passed Class 12th in Science stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • Students who have passed Class 10th/Class 12th through NIOS or Open School Learning mode are also eligible for the SSC CHSL recruitment exam 2020-21.
  • Candidates pursuing Class 12th are not eligible to appear for the SSC CHSL exam 2020-21.

SSC CHSL 2020-21 Age Limit

The age limit for SSC CHSL exam 2020-21 is as follows -

  • Lower/ Minimum Age Limit: The applicants must be 18 years of age as on January 01, 2021. 

  • Upper Age Limit: The candidates should not be more than 27 years of age as on January 01, 2021.

  • Applicants must be at least class 12th qualified from any recognised Board.

  • Class 12th appearing students are also eligible to apply for SSC CHSL 2020-21.
